Let’s talk about yard waste and bulky items. These items are picked up every week the day following your trash pickup. We do ask that you please separate all green waste which includes leaves, branches, garden waste, and unpainted lumber, from bulky household items, which may include washers, dryers, couches, mattresses, other furniture and items that don’t easily fit into your standard trashcan. This is the biggest change; we no longer pick up mixed piles. We hope, with your cooperation, that separating the yard waste from the bulky items will save taxpayers money.
