NLR Parks and RecreationAfter School (ASPire) - Youth

An After School Program (ASPire) is available to community center members at Glenview, North Heights, Rose City, and Sherman Park community centers. This program is designed for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. ASPire hours are from school dismissal (2:30 p.m.) until 5:30p.m.

Afterschool includes check in, snack time, announcements and getting ready for that days’ activity. Depending upon the focus activity of the day, activities can include group games, art and science projects, homework assistance, sport drills or outdoor fun! At the end of each day participants are dismissed to supervised general play until parents/guardians sign them out. A monthly calendar of activities, special programs and events will be made available at each center.
