Mayor Hartwick and the NLR City Council presented Maria Touchstone and Raul Fernandez with a Proclamation from the City at the Council meeting on Monday, September 27 recognizing September 15-October 15, 2021 as Hispanic Heritage Month. Maria Touchstone is the Hispanic Liaison for the NLR School District and Raul is the Director of Seis Puentes in NLR. Raul and Maria are pictured with Mayor Hartwick, Raul is also pictured with Nathan Hamilton, Council member for Ward 1 in NLR and Shara Brazear, Director of Communications for the City. Brazear also serves as a Board member for Seis Puentes.
An event has been planned for this Saturday, October 2 from 11 am-3 pm at Argenta Plaza in recognition of Hispanic Heritage month. Food, entertainment, art, jewelry, etc…..something for everyone.
